Croyde – North coast, few miles from Barnstaple. One of the most popular surfing beaches in Britain. Hollow, powerful low tidal waves.

Woolacombe Bay – North of Croyde – not quite the power of Croyde but still good fun.

Saunton Sands – Good surfing beach and ideal for all water sports

Westward Ho - Standard beach break surf - easy shifting and variety of waves.

Bucks Mill – Exposed. Most of the surf comes from groundswells.

Lynmouth Bay – If the right conditions exist, ideal for the experienced surfer.
