The walking capital of Exmoor – amazing walking along the Devon Coastline and moorland trails. Spectacular scenery from clifftop views to deep wooded gorges. A wide variety of walks to choose from.

The Tarka Trail – from the classic novel by H Williamson.  180 mile trail across Dartmoor, Exmoor and North Devon.

The South West Coast Path – Britain’s longest marked trail of over 600 miles. The Devon section from Minehead to Poole Harbour covers 90 miles of beautiful coastal scenery.

North Walk Cliff Path – this is a spectacular section of The South West Coast Path leading to the Valley of Rocks.

The Coleridge Way – Landscape that inspired Coleridge, 36 miles through stunning Somerset countryside.

The Two Moors Way – long distance (102 miles) walking route from Lynmouth to Ivybridge on the southern edge of Dartmoor.

Doone Valley – beautiful countryside offering easy strolling or serious walking (try the cream tea at Lorna Doone Farm !)

Valley of Rocks – Where Exmoor meets the sea, this is a spectacular valley formed during the ice age. It is home to wild goats and offers fantastic walks with dramatic sea and cliff views. From The Lyn Valley Hotel take the North Walk Cliff path leading to this stunning landscape.

Watersmeet – From Lynmouth this incredibly scenic walk takes you along the River Lyn to where it meets Hoar Oak Water. Take a break at the National Trust Lodge which serves excellent food and drink. The Lyn Valley Hotel is the perfect starting point for this walk.
